Glenn Stover Marketplace text alerts

Glenn Stover runs the Glenn Stover Marketplace, where homeowners post home projects and contractors vetted by Glenn bid on them. If you choose to, you can get text updates about your Marketplace activity.

What we text

  • Bid updates: new jobs near you, invitations to bid, answers to questions, bid decisions.
  • Job status: scope ready for review, cleared to start, work finished.
  • Signing reminders: when an agreement or sign-off is waiting for you.

These are account and project messages only. We do not send marketing texts.

How often: message frequency varies with your activity.

Cost: message and data rates may apply. We don’t charge for text alerts.

How to sign up

Enter your mobile number and check the text-alert box on the Marketplace form or in your portal profile. The box is never pre-checked, and you don’t need to sign up for texts to use the Marketplace.

Preview only. This is the same sign-up box Marketplace members see on the homeowner project form and the contractor profile. This copy is switched off: it does not send or save anything you type.

Checking the box is optional. In the Marketplace, we log the date, time and phone number of each opt-in.

Stop or get help

Reply STOP to any text to opt out. You’ll get one confirmation and no more texts. Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].

Glenn Stover Marketplace: New job near you: Roofing in [Town], bids due Nov 12. Log in to view it and ask Glenn for an invite to bid. Reply STOP to opt out.

Privacy

We never share or sell your mobile number or text opt-in information to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We share it only with the service providers who deliver the texts, such as our messaging provider and wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
